The Payroll Coordinator will ensure accurate processing and recording of the company’s bi-weekly & weekly payrolls, provide timely and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly and weekly payroll for multi-state employees at various locations
  • Registering payroll tax filing in various states (i.e. withholding and unemployment taxes)
  • Assist with 401K and HSA file administration
  • High-level attention to detail to ensure accuracy through payroll analytics
  • Educate employees on applicable payroll processes including time management and paid time off requests (PTO)
  • Provide management and accounting department with various reports as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Critical thinker with the ability to display strong initiative while balancing multiple projects
  • Provide administration of employee wage garnishments/assignments and handling
  • Ensures applicable withholding tax setups in payroll processing system
  • Other duties as assigned         
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll.
  • BS Degree in Business, Accounting , Finance or related field coursework
  • Experience with registering payroll and unemployment taxes in multi-state
  • Knowledge of the applicable compliance requirements and related regulations in multiple states
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
  • Proven track record working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Dependable with solid understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Self-starter with strong initiative driven by the challenge of shifting projects and priorities
  • Excellent communicator as well as a relationship builder with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • CPP certification preferred

Compensation: $45,336.00 - $67,995.00 per year
