- Develop and implement market strategies aimed at driving growth across all product lines.
- Produce sales margins and revenue based on a defined plan that is reviewed quarterly.
- Lead the sales team to achieve targeted quota results through coaching, training, activity-based management, development of specific account strategies, and other sales management techniques.
- Establish goals and objectives for the team, monitor performance, and ensure that sales activity targets are achieved on a consistent basis.
- Formulate and implement sales practices and strategies to support a valid and growing sales pipeline, maximize sales performance, and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Support the team’s sales efforts by applying analytical and creative problem-solving skills to meet customer requirements and/or convince customer to accept an alternative course of action.
- Provide input, direction, and guidance with respect to customer needs, marketing programs, and personnel development programs to ensure that our offerings and tools are effective, up to date, and continually improving.
- Effectively implement and track the success of new sales and marketing programs.
- Provide input into the development of compensation plans, performance objectives, training programs, and process improvements and effectively implement them in the sales organization.
- Review market analyses to determine customer requirements, volume potential, and competitive pricing.
- Develop sales campaigns to achieve the goals of the company.
- Recruit and retain top sales professionals through the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies.
- Demonstrate technical expertise and maintain a high level of credibility.
- Participate in all company sponsored training classes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate, bachelor, or other advanced degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of verifiable experience in a sales management role in a residential HVAC or trade-related service and maintenance operation required.
- Proven sales and marketing experience with the ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies required.
- Knowledge of HVAC field concepts, practices, best practices, procedures, tools, and equipment preferred.
- HVAC certifications preferred.
- Strong needs-based sales, negotiation, and influencing skills and a passion for excellence are a must!
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen required.
